Tom Rowett: 1st Financial Centre Inc. have become the newest PPMH corporate sponsor.
They will donte $100 for every mortgage that closes through their mortgage brokerage arm (CENTUM 1st Financial Mortgage Inc). New clients need to mention at the time of application that they are applying for a mortgage under the PPMH corporate sponsorship program.

Prevention Services for Coaches
As of January 1st 2002 all coaches must have completed the Prevention Services Clinic.
This is an OMHA rule and will be enforced by the OMHA.
If you are a coach or an assistant and have not completed the clinic you may be removed from the bench. This ruling applies to all coaches and helpers at all levels of play (houseleague included). If you are attending a tournament you may be asked to provide proof that you have completed this clinic. Please have your Prevention Services card with you at all times on the bench. - Updated Aug 04 2006

Mouthguards Policy
As of January 1st, 2002, mouthguards are mandatory for all players---OMHA ruling.

Predators Web Site Background
The web site of the Port Perry Minor Hockey Association was initiated during the summer of 2000. The original site was developed by then local high school student and hockey player Chad Lance. Chad was the creator of the "Roaring Dinosaur" that greeted visitors to the web site up until late 2001. You could say he got the site off to a "roaring" start. Chad has since graduated and moved from the area. Current President and previous Board member, Dave Dickson worked with Chad during the development of the site, and continues to be involved with the posting of weekly schedules for the convenience of all who have come to rely on that electronic format.
The site is now managed by a small group of volunteers, whose goal is to provide a useful and interesting look at the local minor hockey program.
At the beginning of 2002, the hosting of the website moved to local internet service provider Compton Communications. The company continues to be a strong supporter of minor hockey in Port Perry. The website was given a whole new look in 2007 by another minor hockey supporter, Maple Moon Web Design Inc. - updated May 2007

Coaching Selections 2007
Coaching selection meeting took pace on June 5th. AE coaches have now been selected for most teams although some spots are still open. Check out the Coaches page
